Memorial Service

A memorial service is a gathering to honor someone’s passing where the remains are not present. The  purpose of the memorial service is to support and give comfort to the immediate family and close friends.

The memorial service may be held in a funeral home chapel, a place of worship, or a natural setting such as a wooded park or a beautiful beach that held meaning for your loved one. It may take place within a few days of the passing, or it may occur weeks or even months later.
