Dana Bert Christian, 66, a practical joker at heart and loving brother and son, died Monday, December 13, 2021 in Lansing. Dana was born March 10, 1955 in Zion, IL, the son of Kelvie Bert and Betty Jean (Wicker) Christian. He graduated high school in Zion before attending culinary school. Throughout the years, he worked in various capacities in food service, lastly as the meat cutter at Meijer Grocery Store. Dana loved sports, especially playing football and basketball in his early years. He was a wealth of knowledge about sports trivia, and enjoyed collecting memorabilia from his favorite teams, as well as coin collecting. He and his mother, Betty, were members of Calvary Baptist Church in Charlotte. Dana is survived by his mother, Betty Christian; sisters, Brenda Robuck, Carol (Brian) Cawley, Rhonda (Tom) Morrow, and Regina (Jay) Searles; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Kelvie; and his brother-in-law Ray Robuck. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 20, 2021 at Pray Funeral Home with Bob DeLaney officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., just prior to the funeral service. Interment will take place in Maple Hill Cemetery.
