Michigan Nordic Fire Festival

Join us for this year's Michigan Nordic Fire Festival and #BeAWeekendViking. Vikings take over Charlotte as we gather at the festival site at Charlotte's sledding hill at 620 W. Shepherd Street. Pray funeral Home is excited to be a sponsor for the weekend of viking reenactments, axe throwing, blacksmith demonstrations where they make spears, hammers, and all sorts of Viking implements. There are also demonstrations, and lectures on all things Viking, period clothing, defense techniques, music, dancing, vendors selling authentic Viking clothing, helmets, horns and many other things. There will even be a talk about Viking Funeral rituals by our own Joe E Pray, accompanied by the unveiling of a model Viking Casket. And, don't forget the Mead Hall serving food and the Viking's signature beverage, Mead.
