Cremation Urns

A Permanent Memorial
An Urn is very important since it provides a protective receptacle to hold the cremated remains with dignity. It is quite often used as a focal point during a memorial service, and can serve as a permanent memorial to the deceased following the memorial ceremony.

Selection of an urn offers the family another opportunity to individualize the services of their loved one. In many cases urns can be personalized with engraving or etchings of either the deceased's name date of birth, epitaphs or poems or scripture, pictures or drawings and many other things that are unique to each individual.

Cremation Urns are crafted of many different materials and vary in price.

Cast Bronze
These are made of solid bronze and possess the attributes of strength, durability, and a beautiful appearance. Many of these are crafted as works of art.

Cast Acrylic
These are cast in Gallery Quality Acrylic. The appearance of this material is crystal-like. It is also a very durable material that has made it a popular material for many different uses.

Hardwood
These are crafted from many different species of wood. Many people prefer these urns because it is similar to the materials and finish of the fine furniture that they have in their home. These are known for their visual warmth and beauty.

Ceramic
These are usually made in the shape of the traditional urn or vase shape. While this material is much more fragile than bronze or wood urns, many people prefer them because of the traditional beauty associated with ceramic vases.

Sheet Bronze
These are constructed from bronze sheet material. While they are lighter in weight than the cast bronze urns they still offer the protection of bronze. These are often in the shape of cubes or chests. They often can be finished with a brushed finish for beauty.

Keepsake Urns
Many times families are reluctant to inter or scatter the entire volume of the cremated remains. More and more, families are selecting to keep a small portion, either at home or in a special place. To facilitate this need, the family may choose to place a portion of the cremated remains in a Keepsake Urn. These are usually made of the same materials as a standard urn, however they are smaller in size. These are just right for a focal point for memorialization perhaps in a home or garden area. These Keepsakes can also be used to hold a lock of hair or special ring or some other remembrance of a deceased loved one.

Scattering Urns
We offer a number of urns that are made to facilitate the scattering of cremated remains in an appropriate manner.

Keepsake jewelry
Many individuals cherish the thought of holding a keepsake such as a lock of hair or small portion of the cremated remains of their loved one in a fine piece of Keepsake Jewelry. These are often a pendant in the shape of a heart, or a cross, and may be worn as a necklace or displayed in a glass dome
