These prices are effective February 18, 2022 and are subject to change and are based on standard services.
Services that require additional staff, time, or other variables will be priced accordingly and transparently.

We know that many times when a loved one passes away, you are faced with the grief of losing your loved one, while having to make a number of decisions you may not have thought about. You also face a concern about expenses you may not have prepared for.
Many people have preplanned their end of life wishes, and funded the costs as well. Alleviating much of the stress related to their end of life care.
This page will share our pricing, why we do what we do; as well as why it's important for you.
We are sure this page will help you make the best decision for yourself, your family, and your loved one.
A webpage, however, cannot replace the benefits of talking to us directly. Every life is unique. Every family we serve is unique. A single page cannot address your unique circumstances, questions, challenges, or difficulties. We encourage you to please call us.
Our prices have always been modest and fair. However, there may be alternate providers whose prices either are, or appear to be, lower or higher. In both cases, it's important for you to understand the difference between firms, what they provide, and how they differ in value for you the family in need of assistance.
Basic Services
Each family requires a basic set of services whether there is a funeral and visitation, or if we are taking care of a basic cremation without any ceremonies.
Basic Service of Funeral Director and Staff - $2895
This fee for our basic services and overhead is the charge for providing the basic services to every family we serve. Each family requires a basic set of services whether there is a funeral and visitation, or if we are taking care of a basic cremation without any ceremonies. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burial, and forwarding or receiving remains.)
Our fee for the basic services of funeral director and staff includes, but is not limited to;
Bringing your loved one into our care; sheltering of your loved one; arrangement conference with family or responsible party to present you with options, and to begin to make decisions of how you will honor and memorialize your loved one; preparation and filing of necessary certificates and permits; recording vital statistics; preparation of death and obituary notices and coordination with those providing other portions of the funeral, e.g., cemetery, crematory, vault companies and others as required.
Also included in this charge are our Aftercare services which help a family after our services are completed, and Grief Counseling and support group services for every family we serve.

A funeral or memorial service is when all of the people that have been touched and influenced by the deceased person's life have the opportunity to come together. This gathering provides a chance for the family, friends and the community, to share stories in eulogy to the deceased. Amazingly there are often stories shared that family members have never heard before. Sharing those stories and memories are the key to moving through the grief process. Without this, stories not shared may become stories lost forever.
This gatherings and services can be simple, traditional, or unique and uplifting. We have experienced first hand how creating a personalized and unique celebration of a life helps the family heal from their loss.
Most of us have attended traditional funeral services. But few have attended services that took place at a theater where MSU's "Sparty" was part of the service, or where a son bowled one last strike down the aisle of the chapel to conclude the service which ended with cheers vs tears, or one for a pilot with an airplane screaming overhead pointing the nose skyward and climbing into the blue sky symbolizing the soul being carried heaven ward. --- we've done all of those. And many more that are just as unique.
As funeral professionals, our duty is to help create those imaginative services; set the stage to share memories of all those touched by the loss; and help begin the healing process.
This section of our expenses are for the use of our staff and our facilities to create a comfortable venue for your family. It also covers our staff and equipment for services conducted outside of our facility such as a church, park, or home.

Care of Your Loved One
One of our primary purposes is to help the family with the care of the body of the deceased.
One of our primary purposes is to help the family with the care and proper disposition of the body of the deceased. The majority of the families we have served over the years have told us how important it is to have the deceased family member present for a service. Seeing or viewing the deceased is important to help families come to grips with the reality that their loved one has died.
The charges for the care of your loved one include all the necessary services related to the care of your loved one's physical body. Services such as bringing your loved one into our care is common for nearly every family we serve, however services such as embalming may only be applicable based on your decisions of how you will honor and memorialize the life lived.

Embalming Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial. You may select private family viewing with or without embalming, and services or ceremony. |

Total Full Traditional Funeral Service
This option includes one day of visitation followed by a second day for meaningful and creative funeral service, along with the use of our funeral coach and service car for transportation to the cemetery.
This price does not include casket, vault and cash advance items such as cemetery expenses. $5715
Burial Without Services
This is also referred to as "Immediate Burial" where the funeral home brings your loved one into our care, and provides services only related to the burial of your loved one.
There is no memorial service of any kind with this option. If you want to arrange an immediate burial you can use an unfinished wood box, a container provided by the purchaser, or any casket described on our casket price list. For our fee, we provide the following services:

- Transfer of remains to funeral home
- Bathing and surface disinfection
- Placement in the burial container or casket
- Transfer of remains to cemetery

Cremation Without Services
Attended Cremation
Pray Funeral Home knows families want to be assured that cremation services are carried out in the most dignified manner. That is why our cremation services packages all include the service of one of our trusted staff members accompanying your loved one to the crematory to witnesses the entire cremation process. Your deceased family member never leaves our care.
Pray Funeral Home also offers the opportunity for family members to accompany their deceased family member to the crematory in the same way that family members accompany the deceased to a cemetery in a traditional funeral.
This service is provided without viewing or funeral services. If you want to arrange a direct cremation you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composite materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are corrugated boxes. You may also select a casket from our casket price list. For our fee, we provide the following:

Our funeral home believes that a reduction in the normal adult funeral home service fee is appropriate when there is the death of a child. The service options below represent the most commonly requested. The fees below do not include casket, alternative burial container, or outer burial container.

Merchandise
Merchandise is a broad term for primarily physical things related to the care and celebration of your loved one.
This includes things such as a casket, urn, burial vault, and grave markers and monuments.
It also includes things such as Tribute Videos, Printed Service Folders, Registry Books, and products such as memorial jewelry and other keepsakes.
Given the broad scope of these, the list becomes incredibly large, and will always be incomplete. We have listed only the most common merchandise options here for the purpose of transparency.
