Burial Services

Burial Services

For many families, burial feels familiar. It’s a choice rooted in tradition, faith, and a sense of permanence. For others, it’s simply what feels right for their loved one.

Whatever brings you here, you don’t need to arrive with a plan. Most families don’t. Our role is to help you slow things down, understand your options, and shape a burial service that feels honest, meaningful, and supportive to those left behind.

Burial is about more than a final resting place

Burial answers an important question—where your loved one will be laid to rest—but it doesn’t answer everything.

Families and friends still need time together. They need a chance to gather, to speak names out loud, to remember stories, and to support one another. Whether that gathering is traditional, contemporary, or deeply personal, it’s often the most important step toward healing.

At Pray Funeral Home, burial is never just a transaction or a schedule. It’s part of a larger experience designed to honor a life and care for the people who loved them.

How we help you design a meaningful burial service

Very few families walk in knowing exactly what the service should look like. That’s normal.

We begin by listening and asking simple questions:

  • What did they value?
  • What brought them comfort or joy?
  • What moments or relationships defined their life?

From there, we help you shape a service that fits—whether rooted in faith, guided by tradition, or thoughtfully personalized. Music, readings, eulogies, rituals, personal items, shared memories, and quiet reflection all have a place when chosen with intention.

Our team—and our in-house Creationeers—work alongside you to design a gathering that encourages participation and connection, not just observation. We believe the most meaningful services are the ones where people feel invited to be fully present.

The role of visitation and gathering

Many families choose to include a visitation or viewing before the burial service. For some, this moment is deeply important—a final opportunity to see their loved one, say goodbye, and support one another face to face.

Others prefer a closed casket service or a graveside gathering only. There is no single “right” approach. We’ll help you understand the options and choose what best supports your family’s needs, beliefs, and comfort.

A note on tradition and personalization

Burial services are often associated with tradition, but tradition and personalization are not opposites.

Many families choose to honor familiar customs while still weaving in personal touches—favorite music, meaningful readings, shared stories, or symbolic gestures that reflect the individual being remembered.

A service doesn’t need to abandon tradition to feel personal. It simply needs intention.

Support that continues beyond the burial

The day of the burial is not the end of the journey.

Every burial service at Pray includes access to Maximum Living Aftercare, offering resources, guidance, and continued support for individuals and families navigating grief. Loss unfolds over time, and we remain available long after the service concludes.

Burial Package Options

We offer a range of burial service options to meet different needs, preferences, and traditions. Each option is designed to ensure dignity, care, and the opportunity for meaningful remembrance.
