Cremation Services

Choosing cremation doesn’t mean choosing less.

For most families, it simply means choosing a different path for the physical care of their loved one—while still wanting what every family needs: time, guidance, and a meaningful way to gather.

If you’re feeling unsure where to begin, that’s normal. Very few families come in with a clear plan. Our role is to slow things down, ask the right questions, and help you shape something that feels natural and true to the person you’re honoring.

Cremation is a choice of disposition — not a choice to skip the service

Cremation is simply an alternative to burial or entombment. It answers what happens to the body, not how a life is honored.

We’ve learned over many years that families and friends still need a moment to come together—whether that’s a visitation, a memorial service, a celebration of life, or something entirely personal. These gatherings create space for stories, shared memories, laughter, tears, and connection. That’s where healing begins.

Cremation gives families flexibility. It does not remove the need for meaning.

How we help you shape a meaningful cremation service

Most families worry they won’t know what to say or how to design a service. You don’t need to arrive with answers. That’s our work.

We begin by listening and asking simple questions:

  • What did they love?
  • Where did they feel most like themselves?
  • What stories do people always tell?

From there, we help you shape a gathering that fits—whether traditional, contemporary, or somewhere in between. Music, photos, personal items, rituals, readings, storytelling, or quiet reflection all have a place when they’re chosen with intention.

This is where our team—and our in-house Creationeers—shine. We don’t just coordinate events. We help families create experiences that invite participation, encourage connection, and gently open the door to healing.

Our promise: your loved one never leaves our care

Every cremation service at Pray Funeral Home includes Attended Cremation.

That means a member of our staff personally accompanies your loved one to the crematory, remains present throughout the process, and returns them to our care the same day.

Your loved one is never transferred away or handled by someone unfamiliar.

For families who wish, you may also choose to accompany us—much like a cemetery procession—offering a final moment of presence and care.

This isn’t about procedure. It’s about trust.

What happens after cremation?

One of the benefits of cremation is flexibility. Families often choose different paths, and none of them are “right” or “wrong.” What matters is what feels meaningful to you.

Common options include:

  • Interment in a cemetery, columbarium, or niche
  • Keeping cremated remains close for a period of time at home
  • Keepsakes that allow multiple family members to share remembrance
  • Scattering in a meaningful place, following applicable guidelines

We’ll help you understand each option and walk alongside you as you decide—without pressure or assumptions.

Care that continues beyond the service

Grief doesn’t end when the service does.

Every cremation service at Pray includes access to Maximum Living Aftercare, offering resources, support, and follow-up for individuals and families navigating loss. Healing isn’t a single moment—it’s a process—and we remain available long after the day of the service.

Cremation Package Options

We offer a range of burial service options to meet different needs, preferences, and traditions. Each option is designed to ensure dignity, care, and the opportunity for meaningful remembrance.
