Ensign Frances Flaherty Memorial Program and Luncheon at VFW

Community members are encouraged to attend the Memorial Program for Ensign Francis Flaherty at he VFW Post 2406 Adjacent to Maple Hill Cemetery on Lansing Street. The program and a luncheon will follow the Graveside Service. The program hosted by the Greenewalt-Flaherty American Legion Post 42 will feature a presentation by local Veteran and Medal of Honor Historian Don Colizzi. A representative of Michigan's Own, Military and Space Museum of Frankenmuth will display Ensign Flaherty's Medal of Honor for the public to view. Lunch will be provided for those who attend at the VFW following the presentation.
