You may have heard about Dia de los Muertos before , but never understood what it is. This celebration based on the Mexican traditions is also known in the US as The Day of the Dead and is celebrated on November 1 and November 2. These days are known to many of us in the US and All Saints Day and All Souls Day. This tradition is far different from Halloween that proceeds it. This is a joyful celebration of family and heritage by recalling stories and memories of deceased family members and ancestors. Join us for Mexican delicacies, and traditions as we immerse you in the traditions of Dia de los Muertos. This program is free to attend and we invite you to bring a picture of your family members who have passed on to be included in the program.
